Youth awareness
School Projects for Children or Teens
We offer school classes the opportunity to participate in a short workshop on animal welfare in general and pet adoption in particular. The age of the children or teenagers is not a determining factor.
During their visit, most children learn about the complex topic of animal welfare, such as how a shelter is run, the process of adopting a cat or dog, and so on. We’ll do our best to answer all their questions, whether during their visit to the shelter or during a session in their classroom. However, during a visit to the shelter, they’ll have the chance to tour the cat house and ask questions spontaneously.
For us, educating and raising awareness among young people about animal welfare—and animal protection in particular—is very important. During Q&A sessions, we’ll do our best to explain things clearly and, where necessary, dispel misconceptions or preconceived notions.
Whether you’d like to come see us or would prefer a presentation in your classroom, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
